Brazilian Customs destroyed 12.000 Pirate Decoders
Brazilian press reports that in 2019, Brazilian customs has already seized 12,000 pirate pay-tv decoders. The seized decoders were destroyed on June 5th at the Customs headquarters of Foz do Iguaçu during the XXIII Destruction of Seized Goods Event. The destruction of the seized decoders is part of an agreement with ABTA, the Brazilian Pay TV Association.
With the destruction of this new batch, the total number of destroyed pirate decoders reaches 112,000 since 2016, when ABTA and the Customs of Foz do Iguaçu signed a cooperation agreement.
